Ben was kind enough to make me a custom sketchbook to my silly parameters, so I thought I'd do some little paintings in it. These are the first three, and I need to get me another little flat brush (I kind of ruined my existing one) and do loads more.

Tenacious Z!

Many months ago (I think it was October or November) my cohort in crime started making labels on the zebra printer at work.  On one particularly rainy night he made one with an unbrella-toting creature with the apt label that read "rain".   I was on my way out on delivery and I nabbed one

I happened to be delivering to a seedy hotel in town and while I was in the elevator I was struck by the urge to adorn the vertical conveyance with decoration.

I mention that because I went back to that hotel tonight and the sticker was still there.  Not in its entirety, but a great deal of it survived.  You can make out the "N" in the corner.  Ah! The tenacity of zebra labels!
