I have no idea why, but I was asked to draw a giraffe. As I was trying to think of what I could possibly have the giraffe doing to make it funny (because let's face it, I just can't draw a giraffe standing in a field... that's boring) I remembered a doodle I had in a sketchbook from just over three years ago. Somehow the topic of suicidal giraffes came up and after I picked myself up off of the floor - I fell over imagining a giraffe wandering the savanna in search of something tall enough for him to hang himself from - I doodled the end result. Kind of morbid, but lets face it, it's an insanely funny idea. So, here's an updated version. I may actually have to paint this one of these days.P.S. I love giraffes. They're one of my favorite animals.
